'Oh my heart!!': Texan woman rescues an emaciated dog she found on the side of the road; saves his life– starting with a Buccee's burger

Everything good in Texas starts with a Buccee's burger. That goes double if it's your first meal in centuries. For one lucky dog, that was exactly what turned his life around. A woman was returning home from vacation when we saw an extremely malnourished pooch on the side of the road. He was skinny, sad, and looked as if he had no hope left in the world, but this Texan woman was not about to let that slide. Because he was too weak to walk, she scooped him up in her arms and took him straight to Buccee's to get a bucket of chicken, a burger, and 2 gallons of fresh water to get his strength up.
