Siblings will always fuss and fight, no matter how old they get. Even once you're 99 years old, you're still going to yell at your sister for that shirt she borrowed and never returned. But, it's all love. Nobody can tell it like it is to your face like a sibling can. And, in fact, some would say nobody else is allowed to talk to you like that other than your sibling. You can talk crap on your sibling all day, but the second someone else chimes in or even dares agree with you, they're going down. However, we are all only human, so, unfortunately, not every family has this beautiful dynamic.
Some siblings truly hate each other and usually for good reasons. A woman on Reddit recently posted a story explaining a very spicy fight her and her half-sister are in and we think it's grounds for cutting off contact with that sister. Hear her out! OP and her husband are soldiers and met in the army. They got married after two years and are very happy. Recently, her husband got discharged, but she got deployed for a few months. When she came back, all hell had broke loose. It turns out her back-stabbing half-sister had tried really hard to make the moves on her husband and even told him that her sister was a horrible wife for doing her job. Luckily, the husband was faithful and told the half-sister off. Unluckily, this half-sisters turns out to be the favorite of the mom and step-dad and she went running to them saying he was being "mean" to her.
He had all the texts to back up his story, and when OP (his wife) returned, boy, did she let her half-sister have it. She said some harsh words to her half-sister, accompanied with a slap to the face, and was content with her actions. However, now her mom and step-dad are saying SHE should apologize to their golden child. How can she get her parents to see the woes of their ways??
