We often talk about how weird cats can be when it comes to food. We don't know why it is, but cats seem to love human foods. Not all foods and not all cats, but a lot of them. We have seen everything from cats being obsessed with bread to cats liking sweet potatoes to cats loving cucumbers. And much more. To us, who have weird cats like this ourselves, this seemed to be a universal issue - a factory setting that indicates that once a cat smells that food, there is no going back, and it will fight your for it.
It turns out that some cats go in the other direction though. Some cats, apparently, have so many food sensitivities that they can't eat much of anything. And although it's a bit sad in some ways, in other ways, it's also really funny, especially when the owners have a sense of humor about their impawssible situations.

We wonder what it is about the process of evolution that creates anomalies like this. Like… this cat can eat only some of the most exotic, rare meats that there are. Meanwhile… our cat chewed through the plastic wrapping of our bread to eat exactly three bites of about fifteen pieces of bread.
Sigh. Still, with how cute our kitties are, we are willing to put up with pretty much everything that they throw at us. Anything to make these cutie cats happy, right? Whether it's a smol snack of bread sometimes or… very expensive alligator meat.
