Normal Woman Orders a Steak, Irrational Mother-In-Law Flips Out Over Portion Size

Now, I don't have the biggest stomach of all time, but when I go out, I'll order what I order based on what I want. Maybe I worked out that morning; I'm going to order something heavy and hearty. Maybe I'm not feeling particularly peckish, so I'll order something light. That's my decision and unless it goes against a strict dietary restraint, then I'm going to make my own choice as to what I eat.

In a thread on the /r/amitheasshole subreddit, user /u/dragonflysouth4310 explained the dilemma that she recently faced with her mother-in-law. "AITA for ordering a giant steak against my MIL will, actually eating it, and refusing to cover the entire bill," the user posed. Based on the title, it might seem like she was skimping out on the bill, but the reality is much different. It's not un-womanly to order something you need. Your mother-in-law shouldn't be enforcing a diet on you. Check out the full story below!
