The Cringiest Parenting Texts of the Week (August 15, 2023)

You know what they say about insane parents, can't live with them, can't live without them despite your best effort to rid them from your life.

There's no perfect parent-and-child relationship. Even the best families still have hiccups now and then. There are a lot of lucky people out there with some of the best, most sane parents imaginable. And that's incredible! But we're not here to talk about you guys, sorry. Some of us have been cursed with the most deranged parents imaginable. I can personally say that cutting my mom out of my life has been the best decision I've ever made. Paragraphs and paragraphs of disparaging, toxic language being thrown at you are unimaginably degrading. While part of you wants to maintain some sort of relationship, sometimes the only solution is to block your parent's number and move on with your life.

These are some examples of what I mean. Insane parents doing what they do best, making their child's life a living nightmare. It's not a pretty sight to see, but here are some of the most insane parental texts we could find this week. Proceed with caution, these parents are unhinged.
