Listen. Relationships come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. Some are healthy, some are t0xic, some are informative, and some are so boring you can't wait to never see them again. But there comes a time when we enter a co-dependent, clingy relationship. Now, clingy behavior in couples does not have the best rep on the street… but it all depends on the context if you ask me.
Clingy behavior in couples can have both positive and negative aspects and vary from person to person and relationship to relationship. For example, some of the ups to being a clingy couple is that you share a strong emotional connection between you and your lover. You feel deeply attached and secure in their presence (the ultimate goal, no?). And you can be your booty that clingy partners are the most supportive partners you will ever find.
But then again, at one point or another, you may feel like you're being suffocated, which can be overwhelming and can lead to a breakup. That is why it's important for couples to find healthy balances between quality time and maintaining individuality.
