'I poured him the cheap $8 wine... the rest of the day': Barman gets petty payback against a guest after he takes 'open bar' way too literally and climbs behind the bar to steal drinks

The first thing you learn when you turn 21 is that you're never (EVER) allowed to go behind the bar. Unless it's a dire emergency, the zone behind the bar is a sacred, untouchable place– it's for the barman and the barman alone. It's the ultimate bar-hopping faux pas to invade the bartender's area. Period. 

However, spirits and bevvies can get the best of any guest and for some self-important folks, they feel that this cardinal rule is only a suggestion. In this case, a guest at a VIP event took the 'open bar' a little too literally, scrambling towards the bar-back when the bartender stepped away for 45 seconds, stealing a bottle of their most expensive vino. 

The barman was furious. 

Naturally, the one, sacred rule of bartending was broken, so the bartender decided to get a little payback against the disrespectful guest, using the only power-flex he could.
