You know that feeling of uncontrollable fear that you feel when you leave your cats alone for a long time? That fear that they will forget you? Or will be mad at you? We're pretty sure every cat owner knows that. Like- you know that your cats love you, for a fact, you know that your cats miss you when you're gone for long periods, but you can't help but be afraid that right when you need them the most, they won't be there for you. 

But cats know when you need them - when you truly need them, and they don't forget you when you go away for long periods. Your cats will give you the comfort that you need when you need it. Sometimes, they'll do it obviously, other times more subtly, but they'll be there for you, and that's what the person in this viral thread learned as well.

    Cats know you for much more than your hair and smell. Just look at the way that they interact with you. Cats know your voice, cats know the speed with which you walk, cats know your mannerisms and your patterns. Your cat would never forget you after merely a week, and we're sure that deep in your heart you knew that. Still, the relief, the confirmation, must have been amazing.
