If you're looking to go for a swim in the middle of your living room, I know the perfect house for you. Seriously — it exists. And it's #22 on this list of eccentric houses.
When you want to sell your home, a realtor and photographer will help you snap a bunch of pictures that make your home seem appealing to a potential buyer. Usually, they'll try to highlight the best features while downplaying the worst of them. However, some houses are so, um, unique that there's no hiding the previous owner's colorful style.
I'm pretty fascinated by the entirely glass house in photo #10. I know that having lots of natural light is a big selling point, and many people adore wall-sized windows. But could you really enjoy living in an entirely glass home?
The easy answer is to just add curtains. But actually, I think if you live there, you've got to commit. You bought the glass house, now you live in the glass house, and we'll all stare in at you from the sidewalk wondering, "Who'd want to live there?"
