Cats are cuddle monsters. Although they resist us by shying away from a big human hand coming to pet them, cats secretly love being loved. And cats might hem and haw over the new kitten you brought in the house (what is this, the 10th foster, Susan?!), but they secretly love that rebellious little fur ball. It's only in the shadows or in the wee hours of the night that cats allow themselves to be their true, cuddly selves, hiding away their lovability to prove to the hoomans that they're still the untamed predator we think they are.
Au contraire, sweet prince, we can see you hugging and cuddling the other kitty like you two are a spooning couple in love– and there's no hiding true love in cats. Cat duos, where kitties are inseparable from their partner, give us faith in our own love lives that one day we could possibly find our own cuddle factory. For now, we'll have to settle for the love story of the two stray cats who met under the roof of a couple of inexperienced pawrents. How beautiful.
