Happy morning, cat people! It's Friday, and that means that, in preparation for the weekend, we have to look away from the news, take a deep breath, and enjoy some of the goodness that we know is out there in the world. We want you guys to have a good day, and what better way is there to start than by meeting all of the newly adopted faces of the week?
Each and every week, we start your Friday morning off with a whole bunch of wholesomeness in the form of the cutest cat adoption stories we could find this week. From stories of teeny weeny kitties getting adopted to distinguished senior cats finding their furrever homes and everything in between, and all of it is so heartwarming, you won't be able to stop yourself from smiling.
As always, we would like to take a moment to thank all those who adopted recently and have shared their stories with us. Thank you for providing loving, warm homes for these furballs. And a special, heartfelt thank you goes to those of you who adopted senior cats, sick cats, or any other cats who require a little more love and time than most. They are thankful to you, and we are too.

"She just went to surgery a little over a week ago. It was a large mass. Today I am suppose to get results of the biopsy. It grew very large overnight. I got her from a shelter. Everyone there was choosing all the, they called 'cute, pretty and adorable'.
She was at the shelter for months before we met… I adopted her after losing my spouse of 23 years… Well, Aurora, when I adopted her, was 6 months old, was 2.2 lbs! She doesn't look like that today! She was 9 lbs before surgery and had a birthday Sept. 25! Praise God she is a wonderful, beautiful and sweet cat I have had the blessings to adopt! Everyone who sees her Constantly tells me how beautiful, sweet and lovable she is!
"This is Jiggles. He was a stray cat when I first saw him a year ago. He was very scared of people. I fed him everyday even though he didn't want me to touch him. When it was freezing outside I built him a insulated house to sleep in in my porch. It took me so long to get him to trust me enough to just eat near me. As the months past he started to let me pet him.
One day he showed up to my door with a very infected and maggot filled foot. Poor guy couldn't even put any weight on it. I called all the vets in my area and no one would be able to see him for weeks. My only choice was to take him to the pound in the hopes that they could help. They took care for his foot. He got his shots and got fixed.
Two weeks later I was able to adopt him free of charge and scheduled and took him to the vet to get his worm/flee medication and chipped. This guy is the happiest most chill cat ever and will never be cold or hungry again. His favorite activity is laying on the front porch watching the world go by."
"I work a university in operations and one of technicians came in and asked 'anyone want a cat? We have one in the shop…'
I have lost both my beloved elderly cats in the last two years. For various reasons, my husband and I decided to wait until next spring to adopt a new kitten unless a cat presented itself to me…
Enter Tater.
He's been scanned, he's available for me to adopt. He's mine!"
"This is Marlow. Abandoned by her mom under our house at probably about 2-3weeks old. She adopted us and she's been living on our screened porch for a couple months. She's a happy and healthy 3lbs of Void™? She's perfect and we love her"
