When we all first read (or watched) Harry Potter, it was tough not to imagine ourselves in the wizarding world. Although we didn't have the spells, the chocolate frogs, or the Marauder's Map, we could see ourselves in Harry Potter's shoes, living in a broom closet all summer and becoming the Chosen One throughout the school year. However, our boy who lived made some pretty critical mistakes throughout the entire saga and I certainly think I would have done better job as the hero of a generation of wizards and witches.
Our feelings for the wizarding world run as deep as the vaults at Gringotts Bank, but we do have a few notes for J.K. Rowling. Why was Voldemort so obsessed with conquering a high school? Why didn't Sirius stay in his dog form more often (so cute)? And why oh why was the romance between Ginny and Harry so excruciating? Regardless of the pitfalls of the magical world we all wish we were born into, muggles don't really have a say in what goes on at Hogwarts. So for now, we just need to sip on our butterbeer and enjoy the autumnal season, binge watching our favorite saga and watching Harry learn only one spell (Expelliarmus).
