Roommate's Drunk Snack Sets off Fire Alarm at 3AM

Having a roommate can be tough. Sharing a space with someone can bring out the worst in the both of you, even if you have the best intentions. I've been lucky enough to not have any real roommate horror stories, but I have plenty of friends who do, like leaving fish on the counter for days on end, or refusing to throw out their cat's litter. When you share a kitchen with someone, you get to learn all their nasty habits that you might have been able to be ignorant of if you were just friends. You also become privy to their weird eating habits… and that can engender intimacy over a late-night noodle party, or it could spark conflict if one of you takes it too far. 

One Redditor recently shared a roommate moment that had smoky consequences. It makes me grateful that I've lived with considerate, clean people so far.
