'I've never felt so good. Like, wow!': Dude starts to get Karen'd on NYC bus when he switches from English to Arabic, pretends he doesn't speak English and hilarity ensues

  • Nothing like a Karen throwing a tantrum trying to gather strangers to side with her and instead she gets karma right in front of her. That is what happened to one Arabic New Yorker who turned this annoying situation into a hilarious story. He was on a 20 minute bus ride talking quietly to his friend on the phone. For the first 10 minutes he's speaking in perfect English. He notices a cute little hair bob of the lady sitting in front of him and, so she doesn't know he's talking about her, tells his friend on the phone in Arabic that she looked cute. The lady, however, did not like that he wasn't speaking English. So she turned around and started throwing a tantrum at him. Instead of trying to talk it out with her (which, if you've ever had a Karen situation, then you know is impossible), he just pretended that he didn't speak any English. With this, hilarity started to unfold.
