When you're employing someone, it's probably best not to brag to them about how much money you're making while they're struggling to meet rent for the measly salary you're paying them. It's like all these corporations that have been posting record profits through the pandemic while the cost of living skyrockets and wages fall further behind inflation than ever before.

Meanwhile, despite their profits, some of these same organizations are still executing massive layoffs in order to trim the “fat” of talent they were hoarding during the boom of pandemic trade. You've probably experienced this at one point or another in the form of your boss posting about the new holiday home they just purchased or pulling up in a new Porche shortly after denying your raise request for a third time.
But, like in any good story, it's often in that arrogance and hubris that they find their downfall. While this story may not be as spicy as some of the other stories we've seen come out of this particular subreddit, without a doubt, it's a good bit of revenge against an arrogant employer that doesn't reek of an "and everybody clapped" sort of ending.
