r/pettyrevenge Posted by u/IHaveNoUsernameSorry 15 hours ago , I'll try If you make my life my best to return the favour. Back when I worked in McDonalds as a lobby staff member, we would get college kids come into the store (aged around 18 years old).

One group were constantly told off for vaping in the store every time they came in (there were also a lot of young children in the store so I didn't appreciate them vaping THC in a public place). They would vape secretly, in the toilets and at their table. Since we would tell them off for doing it, they would deliberately make mess in order to punish the staff for it.

I'm talking and water on the toilet floor, whole rolls of toilet paper blocking the toilets, wet floor signs covering nappies (nappies that they had taken from the disabled/baby changing toilet into the boys toilet), wet floor signs upside down in the toilets that were filled with ... and unflushed, deliberately making a mess with sugar, salt and sauces smeared on the

table, sticking tomatoes to windows and pointing at it and laughing at us, flipping the bird, making fun of my overweight colleagues, etc. You get the idea. One time, I was cleaning up their messy table as usual after they had left when I came across a big, heavy and expensive looking vape. Ordinarily, I would keep such items in the cupboard in case that person came back. But this one I threw straight in the bin.

About an hour later, a panic stricken boy came in to enquire about his missing vape whom I recognised as the ringleader of the group. He asked if I had seen it and said that he last had it in the restaurant. I said I hadn't seen it and that because of the mess on the table, I had dragged the bin over and swept everything from the table into it to save time. He was visibly

crushed and said that it cost his parents £50 to buy it for him. That he was in trouble for losing it and could I check the bin bags out back for it? I said sure and stood out the back for a few minutes before coming back to say I couldn't find it. Then I made a remark about how he would have seen his vape on the table had it not been covered by burger wrappers. Guess who put all of their rubbish in the bin the next time they came in?

IHaveNoUsernameSorry OP. 18 hr. ago I would have let him search through the bins, but store policy would not have. Besides, all of the rubbish bags are crushed with a crusher, so chances are it would have been broken anyway.

Gunthrix 3 hr. ago You must not have much experience with THC. Unlikely the kid is an addict but he's certainly a little : who deserved that lesson.

SheWho LovesToDraw. 15 hr. ago A vape shop opened up right next to my videogame store. I received permission LONG before the store even opened to kick out anyone and everyone vaping, and even issue bans if they try to argue with me, AND even go as far as to call the cops on their dumb ; if they REALLY push their luck.

I pity no one who wastes their money on vaping and then loses their expensive :. Not to mention pitying no one who can't be a decent person in public and not act like children by intentionally making messes because they think they're soooo edgy and rebellious.

matt_paradise 10 hr. ago Can't you just ban them? Reply Share ↑ 7 7 ↓ IHaveNoUsernameSorry OP 10 hr. ago They were chucked out a lot but not outright banned as they are still paying customers. It was a franchise and the owner only cared about profit, not making her staff members jobs easier.

not-rasta-8913 - 5 hr. ago The entitlement of some people. If you want to smoke or vape, just step outside. Pretty simple.

DynkoFromTheNorth 8 hr. ago This was great. Still, I'd kind of hoped you kept the vape back and let him fruitlessly dig through the trash. But your solution was best, after all: he thinks you actually took the trouble in trying to retrieve his lost treasure and therefore you may have gained some respect. Hope him and his friends don't use Reddit!

Greedy_Leg_12088 hr. ago Good job. Teens are in restaurants. Near local schools they are banned from entering and staying around. They can pick up an order outside or ...... off lol.

grand305 2 hr. ago I would point him towards the correct bin or his vape is then say. "I had to put everything that was on the table that was messy into this bin. If your vape was on the table or anywhere in this area of trash, it is in that bag it might be at the bottom though." Enjoy. Ⓒ He would look thought the entire bag and find it." Make sure to put everything into a clean bag now."
