Usually once you've worked in the service industry, you learn how to be a good customer. Oftentimes, you'll learn how to respect your server, clean up after yourself, and generally be a half-decent human being while you're enjoying food at a restaurant. You'd think that it would be a natural reflex to be polite to the person handling your food supply, but for the disrespectful types, tormenting your server is a prize-winning sport.

  • Karens and teenagers are usually the worst offenders when it comes to berating their food service employees. Whether they find pleasure in causing misery for someone just trying to do their job or they simply enjoy acting like messy toddlers, teenagers act like the world exists only for their gain.     One group were constantly told off for vaping in the store every time they came in (there were also a lot of young children in the store so I didn't appreciate them vaping THC in a public place). They would vape secretly, in the toilets and at their table. Since we would tell them off for doing it, they would deliberately make mess in order to punish the staff for it.

One time, I was cleaning up their messy table as usual after they had left when I came across a big, heavy and expensive looking vape. Ordinarily, I would keep such items in the cupboard in case that person came back. But this one I threw straight in the bin.

    IHaveNoUsernameSorry OP. 18 hr. ago I would have let him search through the bins, but store policy would not have. Besides, all of the rubbish bags are crushed with a crusher, so chances are it would have been broken anyway.

I received permission LONG before the store even opened to kick out anyone and everyone vaping, and even issue bans if they try to argue with me, AND even go as far as to call the cops on their dumb ; if they REALLY push their luck.

But your solution was best, after all: he thinks you actually took the trouble in trying to retrieve his lost treasure and therefore you may have gained some respect. If your vape was on the table or anywhere in this area of trash, it is in that bag it might be at the bottom though." Enjoy. Ⓒ He would look thought the entire bag and find it."
