One day, you'll think that you're doing fine, under a lot of pressure and stress, but managing it just fine. The next, your composure shatters, and everything you've been enduring hits you like a ton of bricks. Suddenly, you feel the weight of it all. No energy and sinking, you're now struggling to keep your head above the water level of all the tasks you have to complete.

That's surely what this worker was experiencing when experiencing burnout from their demanding job. Their boss noted that they had witnessed this plenty of times before—which should have been a warning sign this wasn't a job they wanted to stay in. But, after some time off, it was back to the grind, and after enduring all the constant communication with their boss, they soon felt the weight of burnout creeping in once again. They started getting blamed for things that weren't their fault, culminating with their boss's accusation that they were sabotaging the company and leading to the worker's resignation.
