Old age comes to us all, if we're lucky. For some this is a process that happens quicker than with others, and you see the signs in your attitude towards life as much as you do in your body. Staying in suddenly becomes the pinnacle of the Friday night experience. You finally start caring about concepts like your 401K. Also, perhaps most noticeably of all, you start disapproving of things you wouldn't have given two hoots about before.
It's true, you know you've truly made it into adulthood when you find yourself agreeing with some of the more sensible points that your parents and grandparents made. This is something that has been highlighted in a recent Twitter thread, in which younger people were asked to give their most boomer-adjacent opinions. Honestly, most of them are quite difficult to disagree with. I guess I really am leaving my youth behind me.
