'Mustaches everywhere': 25+ Nostalgic throwbacks that were totally cool in 2013, but now make us cringe

What was cool to you in 2013? Truthfully, when you think about it, a lot has changed over the last decade. (Yes, you read that correctly, it has been a DECADE since 2013) I know it seems like time has flown by, but when you read into our next list, it'll make it painfully obvious that technically 10 years have passed since 2013, but that's actually a lifetime in the 'trends' department. 

Take for instance, mustaches… In 2013, it seemed like every Tumblr girl got an old-timey mustache tattooed on the inside of their index finger because it was so dang adorable when they did 'edgy' forest photoshoots with that finger dutifully placed under their nose. And why did the phrase 'Keep calm and ____ on' have such a stranglehold over the nicknack business? Don't even get me started on dream catcher aesthetics…

So if you're like me– still cringing at the thought of what we all thought was the bees-knees in 2013 –just imagine in another ten years when we'll be looking back at 2023, wondering why we were all so obsessed with TikTok, watching sand-cutting videos and swooning over curly-haired broccoli-haircut guys.
