As kids, our perception of the world is shaped largely by our family and upbringing. Growing up, we see things through our parents' lens, viewing the world based on their beliefs, teachings, and experiences. And while our parents are meant to be our greatest guides in life, or at least for the first part of it, many of us know that's not always the case.

Sometimes we realize that our parents did a great job while other times, we'll get a better understanding of why they acted the way that they did. After all, all of our little quirks are passed down to us through generations.
With that being said, today we're bringing you a spicy Reddit thread filled with Parenting myths that too many people still believe. It's time we break the cycle!
