Finding your perfect wedding dress is supposed to be a magical moment. If you grew up watching TLC's show "Say Yes to the Dress" like me, you know what I mean. It's supposed to be a fear-filled affair, with your entire entourage there cheering you on. It's not supposed to be hijacked by someone who's supposedly your friend, just like what happened to this OP. So, the OP finally found the dress of her dreams. The only problem was that the designer was based out of New York, and purchasing it from a local distributor in her area increased the price. By a lot. Luckily, the bride-to-be had a long-time friend who was in New York and agreed to pick up the dress for her. Problem solved!
Not quite. Initially, the OP was so grateful, even purchasing her dear friend an expensive gift and paying for her Uber rides to and from the bridal shop just as a thank-you for her kind gesture. Or so she thought. Then she saw pictures of her friend wearing the dress. That's right, the friend actually posted a picture of her in the OP's dream dress on social media. At this point, some users in the comment section think the friend can still be forgiven for her actions. Until she did this.
To make matters worse, the OP got a bill for the alterations that were done to the dress on the spot. Now, the friend is asking the OP to pay her back for picking up her dress, but the OP doesn't want to after she clearly crossed a line. She wanted to try on the dress so badly? Well, it's hers now.
