'I don't **** with thieves': Mom cancels Christmas after catching her 6-year-old stealing $70 from her purse

When you're a kid, the threat of being put on the naughty list is usually enough to make you be on your best behavior for that last month of the year. I wholeheartedly believed in the surveillance state of Santa and was a bit paranoid that any wrong move I made would result in me getting a big lump of coal. Luckily, I always made it out of the holiday with presents under the tree, whether I deserved them or not.

A mother of two kids, ages 6 and 13, recently went viral for saying she was going to cancel Christmas. The reason? Her 6-year-old stole $70 out of her purse to give to the teen so she could buy a new iPhone. The mom claimed her family was giving her a hard time about this decision, and decided to solicit brilliant minds of Twitter about how she should parent her kids. As usual, Twitter users had a wide variety of opinions on this harsh move.
