Being able to be funny through text is something I always wanted to be. And I don't mean text like the one you are currently reading right now, because I am absolutely hilarious at that, otherwise none of us would have been here right now. No, I am talking about being funny when I am texting people - my friends, my family, people I talk to on dating apps, especially people I talk to on dating apps… But, for some reason, I never seem to be able to get my points across. For example, when I write something sarcastically, it just looks mean, or when I try to compliment someone, that is when I come across as sarcastic. I can't seem to win. So for now I am sticking mainly to voice notes, which none of the people I usually talk to are happy about.
