As dog owners, we all know the agony of our dogs not listening. It can be the most frustrating thing in the world. Like, we know they hear us! I didn't realize when I got a dog how much of my life would be spent telling them to go potty outside as I'm trying to rush out the door. Sometimes dogs can be just like kids; they know exactly how to grind our gears.
Take this doggo, Buster Henry, for instance. Anyone with a lab knows it's impossible to keep them out of the water. It can be fun and tempting to take them to a pool to wear out their energy as they swim their little hearts out. But getting them out of the pool, that's a different story.
One time, we took my brother's lab on vacation with us. On his first day at the beach, he pulled his tail. Seriously, his tail was wagging so hard from happiness and swimming that he pulled his tail muscle on day one of vacation. That's why this story of the defiant Buster Henry hits hard for all the lab owners out there.
This poor dog mom tried TEN times to get Buster out of the pool, to which he just turned around and cannon-balled back in. It was hilarious for spectators, grueling for the hooman.
After his tenth attempt, Buster's mom pulled out the big guns and brought his Dad to get him out. Sad his fun had to come to an end, Buster reluctantly came inside.
