Being a new hire at a new job can be a bit intimidating. Not only are you the new grunt in the workplace, but you're surviving the workday with basically no experience and a lot of questions. Usually, your manager recognizes your liability, but in some cases, new hires are punished for their inexperience– even though it's a direct reflection of their training efficacy… or lack thereof.

It's hard enough being the new lackey at work, but when the more experienced coworkers around are consistently rubbing it in your face, it's only a matter of time before something's going to give. Besides, whether you're holding a mop, a phone, or a crisp cashier's check in the workplace, everyone has very clear roles to play that are vital to the success of the entire machine.
For example, without the janitors in the building, we'd run out of toilet paper. Without the front desk attendants, we'd have clients rushing up to the sales team at all hours of the day. And without a vital new hire answering the phones at a tattoo/piercing shop, oh boy, do we have a problem.
