Did you ever make a 'If we're not married by age X, we'll marry each other' kind of pact?

I never made these kinds of pacts, but I definitely had friends with whom I would have liked to do it, but I never had the courage to bring it up. I always thought it was so romantic when characters in a sitcom or a romantic comedy made these kinds of pacts. And of course, since it's television, they always end up being secretly in love with each other, and then they get together and usually even get married. But is it realistic? Do these things even happen? I want to know what actually happens in real life.
