January is finally over. Somehow. And despite all the craziness that this year has already wrought upon us, we hope that you have had a lovely week. But even if you haven't, we're about to make sure that you start this Friday on the right paw. It is time to meet the newly adopted faces of the week!
Every single Friday, we start your day off with a collection of the most heartwarming cat adoption stories we could find. Because there is nothing that we love more, as cat people, than seeing these sweet kitty cats find their forever homes.
Thank you to every single person who adopted this week - whether you adopted a tiny itty bitty kitten or a fully grown senior catto - we're thankful. And we're even more thankful to those of you who adopted the 'less than pawfect' cats - the sick cats, the rehomed cats, or the cats who have behavioral issues. We wish you all the longest and happiest lives with your new companions!

"Almost a week ago we noticed her front of our home several times but 3 days ago it was sitting front of our door. When I approached her, started limping in pain.
I carried her and put her in a box. And she was skin on bones .. I think she was starving … my wife gave her a bit of milk then we took her to the vet. 30 mins later and 4 shots we were headed home. Now after 3 days she is active and playing again.
We asked around the neighborhood and put an add on Facebook trying to find its family but with no success. I think she is staying with us for now."
"This is an update to my original post about whether we should foster fail our last foster. We read everyone's comments and want to thank you all for each one! After weighing the pros and cons, we realized she is already our family and a much needed sister/playmate to our other foster fail. We will be adopting her! We can't imagine not having our little snuggle bug. Like many of you, we believe the fact that no one expressing interest in her all these months means she was always meant to be in our family."
"Adopted our very first cat last weekend. I was worried we'd get a non-friendly cat who was very standoffish but she's an angel. Is interested with anything, pickups no problem, wants to be cradled like a baby, vibrates all the time, and... stops me from working or playing on my PC."
"We just adopted 6 year old Reggie as a rescue. We've never had a Persian before, and he is simply delightful. Enjoying his room for the next few weeks until he's ready to meet Gus, the resident ragamuffin for the first time."
