‘You have to change your wedding date’: Bride Uninvites Her Sister to the Wedding After the Sister Confronts Her About Setting the Wedding Date On Family Vacation

Imagine this scenario - you are a hardworking person who has a full-time job and barely any vacation days. You know there is a long weekend a year from now that is the only chance to have a proper vacation, so you plan to take your long overdue time off there. You let the rest of your family know about it while you and your partner set a destination in mind, a hotel, and plan what you are going to do while you are there. Then, your daughter comes out of the blue and declares that weekend as the date of her wedding, claiming it was the only possible date in the entire year. 

That is basically what happened in this Reddit story, that was written by the bride's sister. OP was the only person who was willing to stand up to the bride and tell her that what she was doing was not fair to her parents, who had been really looking forward to their vacation. But the bride did not love being criticized for her actions…
