It's no secret that many adults do not know how to interact with children appropriately. I might be one of them because I forget that swearing is not a socially acceptable thing to do in front of an elementary schooler more often than I'd like to admit (sorry, kids who've overheard my conversations on the subway). It would be best if you didn't compare kids to each other, saying that one is inadequate because they're not like the other. You shouldn't spoil fun childish things like Santa Claus or B-list figures like the Easter Bunny.
