'The audacity of a deadbeat Mother' : Mother Tells Father She Wants Custody of Daughter She Hasn't Seen in 5 Years

When a husband a wife decide to part ways or get divorced it's quite a simple procedure. However, throw children into the mix and it becomes more complex - unless you're the mother in this latest Reddit thread.

When her and her husband decided to part ways, she left her daughter with him as she felt she was too young and that too many years of her life had been stolen from her. She went on to not even visit the child for 5 years and now she's back - remarried and wanting to make parenting decisions for that same daughter she left.

The husband took to Reddit to find out what users thought and whether they thought he was wrong that he called a lawyer as his ex wife's new husband was threatening him with a custody battle.

Reddit users were quick to come to the fathers defense calling his ex wife and mother of his child a 'deadbeat' and saying he should take whatever he can from them and claim child support for all the years she didn't pay anything towards her daughters upbringing.
