People can be domineering sometimes; they think they're unique in a way that is only impossible. Thinking of everything themselves and wanting to patent concepts, names, and things they can't. If you decide on a baby name, guess what, many other people can name their kid that. If you're not comfortable with that situation, name your kid something crazy like all the celebrities. Think of something actually unique.

It would certainly be a wild coincidence to have your best friend pregnant the same time you are, to have the same gender, and to have the same name in mind for your baby. Funny coincidence, and at the end of the day it's just a name. What is the meaning of the name? In a sense it's meaningless, a way of identification from one person to another. But it's not something that actually defines us, despite our ingrained attachment to a nomenclature. Let's laugh together at this ridiculous Reddit thread.
