When the customer noticed the charge difference after driving away, he called the fast food restaurant to inquire about what happened. The drive thru worker's response was pretty telling that this was not the first time she had done this and that she knew she was very much in the wrong. The customer shared his side of the story and the subsequent fallout via this thread on Reddit's r/mildlyinfuriating subreddit.
