'I ended up making less than $500 a paycheck': Company lies about compensation to new hire, employee quits via meme

The job search is tough, and it can be quite a lengthy process too. But once you finally nail a few rounds of interviews for a job you really want, you can feel on top of the world. The only part left is negotiating your contract. In the case of this new hire, she was only looking for a job to help pay for childcare, and she was really honest about that with her new employer. The worst part is that her employer promised her at least $1,200 a paycheck, given that the company had a commission-based pay and offered regular bonuses. Her new boss promised there was no way she'd make less than that. Well, shocker, they lied.

The employer kept telling this employee not to come in because there wasn't enough work for her, even though they had hired her in the first place. She was promised 35 hours a week but ended up getting the majority of her shifts canceled, sometimes as late as 10 minutes before her shift. Tired of the false promises and deceit from her employer, she decided to call it quits in the most iconic way possible - via meme.
