‘Am I a joke to you?’: Man Breaks up With Girlfriend, Returns Days Later Claiming It Was a Prank and Complaining She ‘Gave up Too Easily'

Anyone who is over the age of 15 and thinks that pranking someone else is a good idea needs to seriously reconsider their life choices. April Fools should only be a thing for high schoolers, and even that is a generous offer in my opinion. I just don't think pranking someone is ever as funny as intended, and it almost always ends in somewhat of a disaster.

The relationship in this Reddit story is the classic example of a prank gone wrong. This man thought it was a good idea to prank his girlfriend by breaking up with her while he was away for Easter. The girlfriend, although she was shocked and hurt, accepted the breakup. Several days later boyfriend shows up and claims it was just a joke, which surprisingly, didn't make anyone laugh.
