The vacationers in u/Sierra_Nick's story were spending a day in the sunny state, and they had a great way to get around: a golf cart. They were staying at a hotel, and had gotten a golf cart from the concierge. I guess they didn't think about the particulars of their transport… and they really regretted it later in the day.

If you're following the rules, you've done all you can do to help that person. If the vacationer doesn't want to have a working golf cart, well, that's his loss. He must've gotten very tanned out there in the sun!
