When it comes to marriage and divorce, mixing families, and trying to start fresh with all kinds of people and personalities, it doesn't always transition calmly. Like waves in a storm, the boat can be rocked to such an intense degree that the passengers are fearful or falling off (just an analogy, mind you). 

I want to say that as adults we have the maturity and emotional intelligence to make these situations as clean as possible, to take the road of least resistance, but that's not really the case. Regardless of your age, handling life's situations and hurdles can expose someone for who they really are, and maybe inside they're still just a kid. 

So does that mean it's okay for kids to act like kids? Well…yes, maybe so. Everything exists in its own bubble. Kids are just kids, but they're also a product of their parents, environment, and upbringing. So let it be a lesson, for people to raise their kids well.
