Kids are not always the most quiet members of society. They tend to say anything that pops into their head, especially when they're not of school age quite yet. Little kids frequently cannot control their emotions and, as a result, have crazy meltdowns in public in front of everybody. As much as a baby crying in a restaurant may annoy you or me, I guarantee it is 100 times more mortifying to that baby's parents than it annoys you. Nobody wants their kids to be Public Enemy Number 1, but they can't always control a literal baby. Additionally, the public shouldn't treat babies like they are Public Enemy Number One just because they act like babies! To be a part of a functioning society, we need to accept that kids will act like kids, whether they want them to or not. One Bay-Area woman recently went viral for rejecting that principle.
