I don't believe in the whole concept of love languages, but if I did, one of mine would definitely be somebody cooking for me. Few things make me feel cared for like a person taking the trouble to make me food. I'd hazard a guess that there are many others that feel similarly.
However, some of us are pickier eaters than others. There's no denying it, sitting down to eat and then being served something that is not to your liking is disappointing. At the same time, though, there are ways you can address this without humiliating anyone or causing hurt feelings.
This is exactly what one man on Twitter did not decide to do after he publicly called out a woman who had cooked for him a meal that he was not impressed by. It's fair to say that the internet didn't take to his not-so-constructive criticism. If he is so picky, perhaps he should have been the one in the kitchen.
