‘You’re ungrateful’: Woman Bends Over Backwards Trying Help Her Sister-in-law and Kids, Only to Be Yelled at For Buying the Wrong Groceries
No one likes to be unappreciated. It's our innermost desire to be seen as good people, and to be recognized for our hard work, whatever that may be. It's an insult to our ego and disrespectful to our being for someone to be unappreciative of us.
Although we all know the annoyance of ungratefulness, it's only too possible to be like this towards others. From snide comments, to not saying 'thank you,' being unappreciative of someone will only cause drama and make them resentful. That's just what happens here in this Reddit thread about a woman and her sister-in-law.
The sister-in-law has children, and the OP often takes care of them. When a particular day turned sour due to the groceries being the wrong ones, a family dispute erupted. Needless to say, it ends with the OP taking her groceries back with her, after leaving their home, despite promising to take the kids to the park. If you ask me, it's more of a punishment to the children than the sister-in-law, but see for yourself in this hilarious Reddit thread.
