Hey, animal pals. One of the best things about animals is that their friendships can be between species without any problem whatsoever. We love sharing these wholesome interspecies friendships, but we have one for you today that you probably have never seen before. You've probably seen dogs getting along with cats before, maybe even becoming a tiger's stepmom, but have you ever seen a dog being best friends with…a shark?
This doggo saw a pack of nurse sharks two years ago and was instantly entranced by them. Luckily, nurse sharks are generally friendly animals and overall harmless, so the doggo began to swim with them, and even became best friends with one of them! Over the course of two years, these two unique animals became the best of friends, often meeting for a playdate in the water whenever pawssible. We wouldn't believe it either if we didn't see it, so scroll down below to watch the full video!

Our first instinct as a dog owner to this situation is: Absolutely not! But then again, we don't know anything about sharks - and it turns out that nurse sharks are mostly harmless. Still, they look pretty scary swimming around though!
We have never seen anyone becoming friends with a shark before. Literally anyone. But then again, there is a first time for everything, including this! We really have never seen anything like this before. Thank you, internet!
