Having cats… means making compromises. Cats are like any other roommate. They have needs, they have standards, and they have demands. The only difference is that, unlike a roommate, we are responsible for all of our cats' needs, and if we want to live with them in peace, then we need to learn to comply with their demands. If your cat asks to sit on your puzzle while you are making it, then you let your cat do it. If your cat wants to drink water out of the faucet, then you open the water when they demand it. If your cat keeps screaming whenever you close any door, then- just stop closing doors.
It's simple. And if your cat sheds like a typhoon, well… if there's not too much fur in your food, then you won't even taste it, we promise. Just pretend like it's not there, and everything will be just fine.
Look… as people who have cats, we know that cat hair really does get everywhere. We have coined the term "cat seasoning" in our home, and we treat it as such. So, we can kind of understand the idea of not wanting cats to be near your food. But at the same time…
There is no need to be an mean about it. There is no need to publish about it on the internet. And if you are going to be like that, then don't be surprised if the people in question don't really want you to be in their homes too often.
