My neighbor directly across the street has his yard serviced every Wednesday morning around 730, right at the time I am leaving to drop off my kid at daycare and drive to work. I have had to get out of my car, go find the guy in the yard across the street and have him move his truck so I can leave now at least 4 times since April.

I decided that I was done with this dance and decided to park my wife's car on the street where the landscaper parks his truck on Tuesday nights so come Wednesday morning he wouldn't be able to block my driveway.

We also live on a street that you can only park on one side of and the police here ticket very quickly if they see you are parked on the wrong side. I also have a fire hydrant in front of my house and my neighbor to the north of me parks his

truck on the street so with all that the landscaper and his big truck and trailer now need to park over a block away and bring all his equipment with him in multiple trips.

CaptainMahvelous 21h ago Our neighbor's lawn guy parked right across our driveway once. I came home and asked him to move, and he told me I could street park, so I told him I will gladly street park and wait to watch the tow truck haul him off. He quickly moved and never blocked our driveway again. People behave this way because they count on others avoiding a confrontation.

No-Public-5422 • 1d ago . I'm a Mailman and these guys are the worst. They drive the biggest trucks they can find pulling trailers the size of mobile homes. They act like they own the streets and block boxes. Navigating around those monstrosities is one of the reasons I hate spring/summer. Kudos for fighting back against those

PhDTARDIS . 1d ago I applaud you, OP. My neighborhood only has one entrance/exit. For some reason, one landscaper who had multiple accounts in the neighborhood would park across from my driveway, 3' from the curb, and I couldn't get the out. Fortunately, I was friends with the president of our (small) HOA and after the landscapers ignored me, HE went and gave Told him if he saw him park on the guy • the wrong side again, he was calling the sheriff's office. But this was after months of trying to

Nowadays, there's a different landscaper. We use the guy, and he parks across the driveway of the house he's working on, instead of camping out in the way. He took over from another guy about 6 months ago and the first time he showed up, he rang our doorbell to ask if it was okay to park there while he did our lawn. Since the problem landscaper, I notice that many of my neighbors do the same as we do and park at least one car in the street.

Quick-Possession-245 • 23h ago I had to ask the people who do the four- plex next door to not block my driveway with their landscaping trucks.... I would have to chase them down and wave my arms and yell because they were wearing headphones to protect their ears.... so annoying. They were real jerks about it so finally I called the company that owned the rental units and told them that I would call the cops every single time if they didn't deal with it. They dealt with it.

Palindromer101 1d ago I can't stand landscapers. Their vehicles are always in the way, they landscape way too much in my area (this is a big point of contention for me), and all I want to do is have my windows open and enjoy the nice cool air before the heat arrives, but as soon as 730am hits, they're firing up the loud- weedwhackers and leaf blowers and I cannot enjoy my morning. I can hear them even with all of the windows closed and the air on. It irritates me so much.

Karcossa • 21h ago I was out for a run a week ago or so, and the landscapers for an apartment complex had entirely blocked the sidewalk. I could have stepped into the road, but then if I'd done that I wouldn't have a story. Instead I started running on the grass, and then right through the flower bed the guy was working on, across the entrance to the apartments, and through the flower bed he had just finished. I did avoid the plants because I didn't see the need to destroy them, but I sure as mu
