Personally, I've never been invited to a wedding that's been called off last minute. Actually, I don't think I know anyone who's called off an engagement before, either. When you get to that step in your relationship, it means you are pretty serious. If you can justify spending an ungodly amount on a wedding, inviting all of your friends and family to get together, and vowing to spend the rest of your life with another person, you probably really mean it. Getting married is not a decision that's taken lightly. It changes everything. So, when a wedding gets called off, it's usually not simply because the bride and groom have chosen to go their separate ways. There's probably some major tea that led to that rash of a decision. And these stories below prove just that. Keep reading for some of the craziest reasons these people have known couples to cancel a wedding for. And trust us - they're justified.
