Honestly… WTH. At the time, us millennials watched this and thought “How cool and creepy!” Now, we re-watch it and we're like, “oooooh that explains a lot of my weirdness.” It wasn't just Salad Fingers, we had Happy Tree Friends and Charlie the Unicorn and others, but Salad Fingers was definitely the most disturbing. Like, David Firth… What is wrong with you?? What is going on in your head to come up with a thing like Salad Fingers? Obviously, us millennials ate that up as youngins and we thank you for it, but what in good graces?… We can't think about rusty spoons ever the same again. Seeing anyone with long dark green fingernails? PTSD triggered. And yet, we are so happy Salad Fingers existed. We think back on it fondly as one of the first risqué things we sneakily got to watch behind our parents' backs on the internet. It was a trauma-bonding moment for us and our besties. So thank you for that. And now, we appreciate the Salad Finger memes!
