As if to add insult to injury, traveling by airplane isn't just stressful—it can also be very boring. Even when you have all the in-flight entertainment at your disposal, it can be easy to find yourself twiddling your thumbs and wondering how long it's going to take to be back on solid ground again.

Some people like to tough it out, but others get a little more creative to avoid their air travel misery. This is exactly what happened when one TikToker's boyfriend got up for a bathroom break and then proceeded to surprise everybody on the plane by joining the flight attendants in taking trash from passengers.

When video evidence of this hit the internet, countless viewers were entertained by the spectacle. He was even (kind of) in uniform. While not all cabin crew are likely to be as easygoing, there's no denying that it livened up this particular flight.
