It seems to stand as the ultimate symbol of respect and love (which is a little delusional if you ask me). People really use it as a statement to express themselves, or even use it for petty revenge. 

As any woman getting married, it's your special day, and not only are you celebrating the love between you and your partner, it's your day to be the center of attention. It's completely reasonable to want to feel special and loved. It can be difficult when you already feel jealous and competitive about your sister, but the issue can become extra sensitive when your wedding enters the picture.

Now, the day comes, it's her wedding, and her perfect sister shows up in nothing less than an elaborate wedding gown herself.
