Our cats… are so spoiled. We give them everything that they ask for. We give our cats the food they want, no matter how picky about it they are. We buy our cats expensive and beautiful cat trees, even though our cats usually play with discarded straws and hair bands. We get them cute, comfy, soft beds, even though our cats tend to chill in the boxes they came in.
We cuddle them, we feed them, we love them, so you would think that they would be pleased with us, that they would consider us good servants, but alas, all our cats do is complain. We try to serve them, but we are imperfect. And we cannot help it. For we are not cats, and only cats are purrfect. So is it really unjust of our cats to make our lives difficult when we clearly make their lives so much more difficult than they have to be? Sigh. We get it. Lesson learned. We will work harder to please them.
"So yesterday, my cat started to yell at me (this is a repetitive behavior, vet and I are working on this but she's healthy) to announce she has to use the litter box. I tried to ignore her so she wasn't being rewarded with bad behavior, but since she kept doing it and I've seen her stare at me and then drop a massive sh*t on my carpet, I finally went DO I HAVE TO HOLD YOUR PAW
So I walked with her to the litter box room and she did her business and stopped yelling at me."
"Begged and yelled at the door to sit with me on the porch, spent 5 minutes on the porch, then yelled to be left back in the house. When I didn't go in with him, he yelled at the door some more from inside."
