Every once in a while… we will hear about a miracle. Something happening that should not. Like scientific discoveries, developments in medical science, successful rescues, reemergence of thought-to-be-extinct species. We would consider all of these things miracles. And some smaller things too. Like when a parrot rescued a 2-year-old by loudly warning her babysitter that she was choking, or like when a cat saved a freezing baby by curling around it all night long and then getting help, or like when a man rescued his dog from the jaws of an alligator and the dog lived.

All of these things, and yet, they all pale in comparison to the miracle that happened last week. Because this - a blind dog getting its eyesight back after being shaken by an earthquake - that's like a miracle miracle, something that you would read about in an old book or something. It cannot be explain in any way other than… something grater was out there that wanted this doggo to see again.

You know… we don't know whether to believe in miracles or not generally, but this one certainly seems like a (weirdly funny) miracles. But if miracles do happen, we think more of them should happen to dogs. Because dogs are angels, and they deserve some miracles too.

It's amazing how you can actually see the pupil now. Imagine going into your vet's office the following day and telling them that your dog is not blind anymore… because he was shaken really hard by an earthquake. Just imagine the shock.
