Sometimes, you just need a little brotherly love to help you out of your shell, right? It's always easier to do scary things with a friend by your side. This scared cat was getting trouble at shelters because he didn't like hoomans….at all. He hissed, he bit, he scratched - all because of his troubled past. One wholesome woman decided to foster him, thankfully. With a lot of patience and some help from one of her other awwdorable foster cats, she was able to help scaredy cat go through an incredibly heartwarming transformation!
First, she started by hand-feeding him, then playing with him while he was in his "safe space", but she wasn't making much progress. She had a really friendly foster cat, and decided to introduce them. Slowly, the scaredy cat started to open up and learn to trust his fuzzy family, and eventually, he learned to love and trust them completely. It's a purrfectly sweet cat video, and it just goes to show that a little love and patience is all someone needs to understand that they are loved!
To be fair, we also hide in our blankie whenever we don't want to see any people. We get it, little guy. Sometimes, you just need a blanket fort to settle inside and say goodbye to the outside world.
Every cat takes their own time to warm up to new things. There is the general 3-3-3 rule that you can usually follow, but it's not the same for every cat. If you don't know what that is, you should look it up - it's very useful!
