When I was in high school, I used to think that I was too strange to hang out with. I could hear everyone talking about the music and TV shows that they liked and it was so far away from what I was watching that I would just smile and nod. They would yap about whatever happened on the latest episode of whatever reality show they were watching, while my mind was still traveling across the latest fictional land I was reding about in my latest book series obsession.

But what I learned when I got out of high school is that I wasn't so strange after all, A lot of other people had the exact same obsessions I had, And we all had a lot to talk about, laugh about and share with each other.
